What is your role in the Powers of Place Initiative?
I am part of the Stewards group of the Initiative, and connected with Research, the online community and the overall Connecting function of the project.

Where do you have most passion in this endeavor?
I always want to see deeper than what is on the surface, this leads me to look for deeper patterns, which eventually leads to some useful maps. I'm also interested in how we can relate to place as a whole region, like the place I live: Flanders, the northern part of Belgium. What does it mean to be Flemish? What can be the current and life-affirming meaning of that?
