What is your role in the Powers of Place Initiative?
I am co-director of the project along with Sheryl Erickson. I am also Director of Research.

Where do you have most passion in this endeavor?
My passion is for learning more about human beings’ relationship with the places they inhabit. I want to confirm my belief that when people are in reciprocal, respectful and affectionate relationship with place, potential for innovative thought and action is possible that is beyond the capacities of human beings alone. This unleashed potential can solve problems and serve the world in ways heretofore unimaginable.
