What is your role in the Powers of Place Initiative?
I am serving as an eagle with the stewards group, helping to notice patterns and to pay attention to the bigger picture.

Where do you have most passion in this endeavor?
My passion is exploring how to create greater integrity in our ordinary, day-to-day practices of living in place—how we source our food, where we dispose of our waste, when we honor our ancestry, how we play our games. There are examples all over the planet of communities that choose to live in ways that are deeply rooted in the heritage of place—rather than adopting standardized practices inherited through globalization. What would it be like to rediscover and adapt these local practices to our modern world?
